Di Ondo State Independent Electoral Commission don announce say di All Progressives Congress (APC) win di local government election for 16 local government areas wey dem conduct on Saturday.
Reports show say 12 political parties participate for di election, wey include di positions of chairman, deputy chairman, and councillors for di 18 local governments inside di state.
On Sunday, di ODIEC Chairman and Chief Returning Officer, Dr. Joseph Aremo, announce di results, confirming say APC also win all di councillorship seats for di 16 LGAs.
However, di elections for Owo and Ondo West LGAs bin dey cancelled and rescheduled for Sunday because dem print wrong logo of one political party on di ballot papers. Di ODIEC chairman talk say di results for di two LGAs go dey announced later after di rescheduled election.
Reports show say di issue for Ondo West LGA na because di old logo of New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) appear for di ballot papers. Di chairman confirm say di rescheduled results go dey released by 7:00 pm on Sunday.
Meanwhile, di Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), wey be one of di registered 13 parties, withdraw from di election 48 hours before di event. Di party tok say dem no trust ODIEC to conduct credible and fair elections.
