Man caught stealing from Ogun State Mosque

Di man wey steal ceiling fans and windows from Ogun State Mosque has been arrested.

Di operatives of Ogun State Police Command don confirm the arrest for the theft from one mosque for Adiyan area of Agbado, Ogun State.

According to some eyewitnesses, Kehinde been jump fence of Mapara Moboluwaduro Central Mosque enter inside gather eight ceiling fans, four aluminum windows which go cost around ₦520,000.

Ogun State Police Command spokesperson, Omolola Odutola conrin di incident sey Kehinde don confess sey truly him steal di items sell am to one 31-year-old Awal Yusuf.

“On January 27, 2025, around 9:00 am, we receive report sey one Idowu Kehinde, 35, jump fence for Mapara Moboluwaduro Central Mosque, Agoro area of Adiyan, Agbado go steal eight ceiling fans and four aluminum windows worth #520,000”. Odutola said.

She also mention sey after them investigate di suspect, them been recover one bag containing some of di aluminum window frames wey Kehinde steal. After which them carry am go Ojodu Abiodun Magistrate Court.

“Di suspect been confess after proper interrogation sey him sell di stolen items to one 31-year-old Awal Yusuf. We done recover one bag with some of di aluminum windows wey him steal and we go soon charge am to court”.

Sixteen-year-old steals aluminum sheets in Ogun State

This case de comes few days after them arrest one 16 year-old Ademola Bolu wey steal some aluminum roofing sheets worth ₦180,000 from Christ Light Deliverance Ministry Church for Orile-ilugu, Odeda Local Government Area, Ogun State.

Bolu join hands with two other suspects to commit di crime. Di police been catch di three of them with two sacks of roofing sheets wey them cut into small small pieces so that them go carry am easily.

Even though them don arrest Bolu, di other two suspects still de run.
