Rivers State Government don confirm sey nine people die from wetin them de suspect to be cholera outbreak for two Local Government Areas in di State.

Di States commissioner for health, Dr. Adaeze Oreh, give this update on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2025, during one press briefing for Port Harcourt, di State capital.

Dr. Oreh reveal sey di two communities affected an Andoni where three people die and, Akuku-Toru where six people die.

She talk sey them don record 41 suspected cases of cholera and di state government don de make moves to fix di issue.

Rivers State Government Warns Against Cholera Outbreak

“With di deepest sympathy to di victims, we de investigate di suspected outbreak for Isiodun community for Andoni LGA and di symptoms resemble cholera”. Na so she talk.
