According to wetin di National Agency for di Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons NAPTIP, tell di court, John, alias Success, been traffic di girls go Ghana for prostitution.
Di prosecution counsel for NAPTIP, U. I. Egonu reveal sey this event happen between June and September 2024, when John from Godwin Compound in Oku Uruan, Akwa Ibom State been come back from Ghana to Lagos.
Later on she organize for di travel of one 22 year-old to go to Ghana for prostitution.
As Egonu tell di court, between June and September 2024 after John’s deportation, she don arrange make three girls travel, one na 22 year-old, one na 21 year-old and another 22 year-old.
Woman pleads not guilty of trafficking charges
After them carry John alias Success enter court, she plead not guilty to di charges against her.
