According to one statement from Captain Olubodunde Oni, wey be Acting Assistant Director of 6 Brigade Army Public Relations, di soldiers search di camp and recover plenty weapons like four AK-47 rifles, five AK-47 magazines, 80 bullets, one English pistol, two locally made guns, 28 cutlasses, 16 motorcycles, 48 daggers, and jack knives.

Further investigation show say di bandits dey come from Plateau State and dem don pay one chief for Amar village inside Karim Lamido LGA ₦1.5 million to allow dem set up camp for di area.
