Brief history of COAS Lagbaja
Na on 28th February 1968 them born COAS Lagbaja. Him begin him military journey for 1987 come finish am for 1992 and since that time, him don serve di country in different capacities.
After him graduation, them commission am as second lieutenant for Nigerian Army Infantry Corps wey be part of di 39th regular course him take.
Him serve as di platoon commander for 93 battalion and 72 Special Forces battalion.
During di time wey him serve, him participate for many operations like Operation ZAKI for Benue State, operation Lafiya Dole for Borno State, Udoka for Southeast Nigeria, and Operation Forest Sanitary for Kaduna and Nigeria States.
COAS Lagbaja been graduate for US War College where him get him Master’s in Strategic Studies before him appointment.

After all him achievement and service to di nation, president Ahmed Tinubu appoint Lagbaja as di CHief of Army Staff (COAS) for June 19 2023 where him serve till him die at di age of 56.
