A Federal High Court for Lagos headed by Justice Yellim Bogoro don order make them seize $4.7m, ₦830m and many other properties wey dey linked to di former Central Bank Governor, Godwin Emefiele.
Bogoro wey been deny application from another third party to stop di judgement, grant di application wey de counsel for di Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Bilkisu Buhari-Bala file for di final forfeiture of di former CBN governor’s properties.
Emefiele is trending because court has ordered Buhari’s Central Bank Chairman, Godwin Emefiele to further forfeit $4.7M, N830million and several properties linked to him.

Imore Industrial Park 1 for Esa street, Imoore, Amuwo Odofin LGA, Lagos. Moterwood and Tatler Warehouse (Furniture plant for Bogije) close to Elemoro, Owolomi village, Ibeju-Lekki LGA, Lagos. Two other properties wey them buy from Chevron Nigeria for Lakes Estate, Lekki, Lagos.
Not only these ones, other properties like, one plot for Lekki Foreshore Estate Scheme, Foreshore Estate, Eti-Osa LGA.
One Estate for 100 Cottonwood Coppel Texas Drive, Coppel, Texas owned by Lipam Investment Services Limited.
One land for Bunmi Owulude Street, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos. One property for 8, Bayo Kuku Road, Ikoyi Lagos.
According to Justice Yellim Bogoro, all di properties and monies na proceeds from unlawful activities and therefore, federal government supposed collect am.

Bogoro talk sey, “I find that the activities of the respondents are unlawful. Why them go get problems of dollars immediately after Godwin Emefiele leave CBN and them no fit pay salary?
I hold that di businesses no legit. I hold that Anita Omoile na close crony of former CBN governor, Godwin Emefiele wey them de use steal dollars from CBN.
I also don confirm sey all di properties and monies don dey handed over to di federal government.”
