The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) don start di accreditation of Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres for di 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
For statement wey JAMB Public Communication Advisor, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, release, dem explain say centres wey dem already accredit for di 2024 UTME and no get issues fit just register their interest through di Centre Management System (CMS) Portal. Meanwhile, new centres suppose get accounts through JAMB zonal and state offices before dem go fit register.
Di statement still tok say all centres go first do one Autobot/Autotest for di date wey dem go later announce, before di JAMB team go visit dem for physical accreditation.
Di notice explain say new CBT centres wey wan join for di 2025 UTME process need to first check di requirements wey dey JAMB website. After dat, dem go write JAMB through di Zonal Director or State Coordinator to notify dem of di plan to participate.
Established centres wey already do well for di 2024 UTME no need any extra vetting; dem fit just use di CMS Portal to register interest. But both old and new centres must complete di mandatory Autobot/Autotest as preparation for di physical visit.
Di Board tok say:
- Centres wey no pass di Autobot/Autotest no go get any second chance for di accreditation.
- Di physical accreditation exercise go happen for December 2024, and only centres wey meet di requirements go qualify.
- Centres wey dem approve go dey eligible for di 2025 UTME registration and exams.
JAMB don warn say dem no go compromise di standards for dis accreditation process.
