Di slang “sapa” start from di streets of Lagos, where people dey use am to express their financial wahala. Now, e don spread to di whole country, and everybody dey use am.
People dey use “sapa” for different tings, like when dem want to explain say dem no get money for something. For example, dem fit say “I dey sapa, I no fit buy am” meaning “I’m broke, I no fit afford am”.
