NLC condemns di new tariff hike
In a communiqué wey dem issue after dem National Administrative Council (NAC) meeting, NLC strongly condemn di hike, call am “insensitive & unjustifiable”. Telecom operators initially propose 100% increase, but Federal Government approve 50% adjustment instead.
NLC President Joe Ajaero reject di increase, argue say e go worsen economic hardship for Nigerians wey already dey struggle with inflation, high fuel prices, and rising electricity tariffs. Him direct all NLC affiliates to begin mobilization for di protest and call on civil society groups to join.

NLC demands immediate suspension of tariff hike
Di union dey demand immediate suspension of di tariff hike and dialogue with stakeholders to review di decision. Ajaero warn say if dem no meet di demands, NLC may escalate dem actions, including nationwide boycott of telecom services.
