On Friday, Onyinyechi Mark been win Gold medal for Nigeria in the Women’s 61kg Para-Powerlifting for the 2024 Paralympics in Paris.

She no only win Gold for Nigeria so, she follow set new world record by lifting 147kg of weight.

In so doing, Onyinyechi Mark break the Paralympic Record in women’s 61kg wey Lucy Ejike been set before.

This woman na just a class apart from her fellow competitors wey make her win Nigeria’s first GOLD medal of 2024 Paralympics.

The person wey be her closest challenger come go for 138kg on her final attempt.

It’s important to mention say Nigeria no win any medal at all in the 2024 Olympics.

So, na why this win dey very important for the Nigerian people because she make the country proud, wetin those athletes wey compete for Olympics no fit do.
