Di unions say dem take dis decision because di government no show any commitment to pay di four months salaries wey dem owe dem, and to resolve other grievances wey dem have.
Dem meet with di Minister of Education Professor Tahir Mamman, but dem no see any hope.
Dey say di Minister of State for Education no even dey available to receive dem, and di Permanent Secretary wey stand in for am no fit make any commitment.
So, SSANU and NASU say dem go hold a general meeting on Monday to sensitise their members, and a one-day protest go hold on Tuesday at each branch.
Dem also go hold a national protest in Abuja on July 18, and after dat, dem go announce a date for a strike action.
Di unions say dem no go go back on dia decision until di government meet dia demands.
