Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Yahaya, don present di 2025 budget proposal of N320.11bn to di state House of Assembly on Tuesday. Di budget, wey dem tag “Budget of Transformation and Resilience,” allocate N111.09bn (34.7%) to recurrent expenditure and N209.02bn (65.3%) to capital projects.
Objectives of 2025 budget
Governor Yahaya tok say di budget aim to meet di developmental aspirations of di state people. Di economic sector go collect di biggest share of N138.04bn, di social sector go receive N58.87bn, while general administration and di law and justice sector go get N9.01bn and N3.11bn respectively.
Him also outline plans to generate N160.27bn from recurrent revenue and N71.52bn from capital receipts, while projecting a closing balance of N11.68bn for 2024.
